Where the Road Ends at the Ice

We start in Reykjavík and drive the south coast at our own pace, stopping wherever the light turns gold. Our guide grew up near Vík and knows which waterfalls you can walk behind and which beaches stay empty at dawn.

By day four we reach Jökulsárlón, where icebergs drift out to sea and wash up like glass on the shore. Nights are spent in family-run guesthouses with hot tubs and long dinners.
